Hi Marcia,

I had good response initially, however, no one really followed through…including me! My direction changed a bit so I didn’t do any followup to encourage the process to work. I still think it would work well, as all parties involved would increase traffic and I think some good relationships could be developed, plus I do believe backlinks are necessary. I plan to pursue the idea again at some point. I have piled my plate a little high and need to streamline my objectives, then I’ll be back at it.

Thanks for visiting, Bob. Yes, free lists sound great, but they miss the important point of targeted traffic. CPA, as with anything, can be profitbable if the right product is matched with the right niche and it is effectively promoted.

Like you said, your list is the most valuable asset you can have. When I started off I tried these “free lists”. All I got were thousands of unwanted e-mails and no sales. I haven’t tried CPA, yet a lot of emails are about that.
